June 14, 2019

Transient – 6:31 p.m. – 6300 block of Lincoln Ave. – A male transient was reportedly completely naked near the rear of the business. The reporting party advised that there was an ongoing issue with the transient showering inside. Extra patrol checks requested.
Found Property – 6:43 p.m. – Walker/Myra – A large pile of cell phone chargers was reportedly found near the river trail. Report taken.

June 15, 2019

Water Problem – 8:01 a.m. – 6400 block of Tokelau St. – Water was reportedly coming from under the ground. Golden State Water was notified of a water main leak and vehicles in the area were moved.
Fraud Report – 6:41 p.m. – 9400 block of Sycamore Ln. – The reporting party reportedly purchased an airline ticket from a fraudulent travel airline for $1900.

June 16, 2019

Disturbance (Subject) – 9:04 a.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield Ave. – A subject reportedly came to the residence with a baseball bat and damaged the mailbox. The subject then went home. Police made contact and the family would handle the incident civilly.
Grand Theft Report – 12:14 p.m. – 5200 block of Orange Ave. – The reporting party reported the theft of the RP’s laptop from her car. A possible suspect was a family friend who asked for a ride while visiting from Arizona. Report taken.

June 17, 2019

Stray Animal – 2:13 a.m. – 5000 block of Lincoln Ave. – The caller advised that a large dog, possibly a German Shepherd, was inside the store and wouldn’t leave. Animal Control was advised and took the dog.
Petty Theft – 11:36 a.m. – 4000 block of Ball Rd. – Three bottles of alcohol were reportedly stolen by a female subject with a big black bag. The same subject had committed petty theft in the past couple of days. Police detained the female and a positive identification was made. The subject was arrested for shoplifting.

June 18, 2019

Identity Theft Report – 10:24 a.m. – 4500 block of Chelsea Ct. – $500 was reportedly withdrawn from the reporting party’s checking account in May. The method of withdrawal was unknown. No suspect information. Event number issued for documentation and claim purposes.
Petty Theft Report – 10:40 a.m. – 4600 block of Simone Wy. – A backpack containing the caller’s laptop computer, headphones, and USB charger was reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle overnight. Report taken.

June 19, 2019

Disturbance (Noise) – 1:41 p.m. – 5700 block of Orange Ave. – The reporting party requested the sign a noise complaint against children playing in the park. The RP believed that there was an unpermitted summer camp being run. The kids, who were being supervised by adults, checked okay.
Assist Outside Agency – 9:57 a.m. – 4900 block of Marion Ave. – OCFA was en route to the location regarding wires that were cut and were down in the reporting party’s yard. The neighbor was reportedly cutting down trees. There was no arcing or sparking, the wires were just down.. It was determined that the wire was from cable TV and was cleared by OCFA.
