June 19, 2019

Counseling – 4:15 p.m. – Undisclosed location – The caller requested counseling regarding being the victim of fraud from a business.

June 20, 2019

Traffic Collision – 8:42 p.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – Three vehicles were reportedly involved in traffic collisions. Buena Park Police were requested to assist for the traffic collisions. The vehicles hit a tire in the roadway. The tire was removed from the road and Public Works was requested to pick it up.
Counseling – 10:05 p.m. – 7100 block of Tiara Ln. – The reporting party requested counseling regarding ongoing issues with the RP’s family. The RP moved out after the parents filed a missing persons report that was unfounded. The RP now stated that the RP was being stalked. The RP was counseled. The RP’s parents were also counseled.

June 21, 2019

Public Works Information – 10:17 p.m. – 7822 Walker St. (City Hall) – Sprinklers to the front of City Hall were reportedly shooting water up in the air. Public Works notified.
Pedestrian Check – 11:29 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Valley View – A subject was running eastbound on Orangethorpe. The subject was detained and subsequently arrested for resisting/delaying/obstructing an officer and an outstanding warrant.

June 22, 2019

Counseling – 9:38 a.m. – 7792 Walker St. (La Palma Police Department) – The reporting party wanted an officer to explain to a 9-year-old the consequences of stealing.
Traffic Collision – 5:46 p.m. – La Palma/Valley View – A sergeant from another police department was reportedly involved in a traffic collision in a marked unit. A report was taken and the vehicle was removed from the roadway.

June 23, 2019

Area Check – 7:28 a.m. – Coyote Creek/Orangethorpe – A lock was reportedly cut at the pedestrian access gate. The gate was secured.
Illegally Parked Vehicle – 3:39 p.m. – 4800 block of Sharon Dr. – A vehicle was reportedly parked in front of the residence since Thursday afternoon. The vehicle was marked an a courtesy citation left on the vehicle.

June 24, 2019

Counseling – 9:55 a.m. – 8200 block of Moody St. – Syringes were reportedly found at the location. The caller advised about a possible encampment in the southwest corner of the property. Police checked the area with the reporting party and they were unable to locate an encampment or contraband. Extra patrol checks requested during the nighttime hours.
Area Check – 10:09 a.m. – La Palma/Walker – A vehicle was reportedly driving with its hazard lights on. Police located the vehicle and the driver stated that the vehicle was having engine issues. The vehicle was left in the parking lot.

June 25, 2019

Vehicle Check – 6:22 a.m. – Lemonwood/Driftwood – Police checked a vehicle and made contact with the registered owner. A 53-year-old La Palma resident was arrested for outstanding warrants and transported to Orange County Jail.
Counseling – 5:54 p.m. – 5400 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller requested counseling regarding stalking and tracking devices.
