June 28, 2019

Welfare Check – 9:55 a.m. – Orange/Moody – A male subject reportedly had been sitting on the corner and had walked out into traffic a couple times. The caller wanted to make sure he was okay. Police were unable to locate the subject.
Disturbance (Subject) – 9:32 p.m. – 10400 block of Denni St. – A subject reportedly came into the business with an open can and was refusing to leave. Police contacted the subject in front of the business and arrested the subject for public intoxication.

June 29, 2019

Hazard – 10:21 a.m. – 5700 block of Orange Ave. – A large bee swarm was reportedly on the box on top of the light pole. Public Works notified.
Traffic Hazard – 3:22 p.m. – Katella/Valley View – Six ducks were reportedly attempting to cross the street. Police were unable to locate the ducks.

June 30, 2019

Petty Theft Report – 12:20 p.m. – 9700 block of Graham St. – The caller reported a theft from a possibly unlocked vehicle. The loss included a Bible, gold earrings valued at $300, and sunglasses valued at $200. There were no witnesses, surveillance, or suspect information.
Illegal Dumping – 1:52 p.m. – Sonwell/Orange – An unknown subject reportedly dumped an old washing machine on the corner.

July 1, 2019

Counseling – 8:48 a.m. – 5000 block of Laurel Ave. – The caller requested counseling regarding a neighbor issue. The caller said that the neighbor put her hose over the wall, then called the caller’s dad a terrorist. Police provided extensive counseling and mediation between neighbors. They apologized to each other and would work out their issues civilly.
Grand Theft Report – 11:33 a.m. – 10800 block of Flora Pkwy. – The caller reported the loss of approximately $12,000 worth of electrical breakers from twelve houses. Report taken.

July 2, 2019

Trespassing – 12:21 p.m. – 9000 block of Watson St. – The caller advised that there were at least two subjects at a location that had been vacant for years. The subjects were going in and out of the backyard and possibly the house. One subject arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Petty Theft Report – 2:35 p.m. – 5400 block of Katella Ave. – The caller reported the loss of $169 worth of baby formula. Report taken.
