The California Milk Processor Board (CMPB), creator of the iconic got milk? and toma leche campaign, is launching a new effort, called Bones Love Milk, dedicated to educating youth on the real benefits of milk as “nature’s energy drink” – in an unconventional way, via an immersive, pop-up skatepark experience, showcasing how milk can deliver the strong, healthy bones that skateboarders need in order to bounce back onto their boards quickly after a hard fall.
CMPB will kick-off its Bones Love Milk initiative this summer with the introduction of its official 2019 Bones Love Milk Skate Team and an immersive installation celebrating skate culture. The Bones Love Milk Shredquarters, an indoor pop-up skatepark experience will feature a week-long program (July 27 – August 4) of skate events including daily open skate sessions, pro tutorials and a Street League watch party.
On hand will be the official Bones Love Milk Skate Team featuring some of the sport’s best: Christian Hosoi, Chris Cole, Tom Asta, Bryce Wettstein and Cordano Russell.
Bones Love Milk Shredquarters indoor pop-up skatepark experience will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily from July 27 through August 4, 2019 at 300 Pacific Coast Hwy., Suite 200, Huntington Beach, CA 92648.
The event will feature open skate sessions (safety equipment and boards provided), as well as, a variety of other skate events.
