July 10, 2019

Battery Report – 1:53 p.m. – 10400 block of Janice Lynn Cir. – The reporting party was in the lobby with child, who said he was kicked by the child’s grandmother who lives with the reporting party and children. Counseled regarding the reporting party moving out.
Traffic Hazard – 2:21 p.m. – Walker/Lincoln – A subject reportedly had the hood of the vehicle up and was trying to work on the vehicle, and other vehicles were swerving to get around him. The vehicle was in the number two southbound lane facing northbound. Vehicle moved.

July 11, 2019

Counseling – 8:38 a.m. – 9100 block of Watson St. – The reporting party was upset due to a vehicle parked legally on the street. The reporting party was counseled.
Counseling – 9:08 a.m. – 5000 block of Melbourne Dr. – The reporting party requested counseling regarding a male subject who lives in the area. The subject reportedly goes into the RP’s backyard and uses her pool and had scratched the RP’s vehicle.

July 12, 2019

Vandalism Report – 8:02 a.m. – 5400 block of Myra Ave. – An unknown suspect reportedly broke windows in the classrooms. No entry was made. The damage was valued at approximately $1,000. There was also a burglary to the cafeteria with a loss of $10 in cereal.
Transient – 9:55 a.m. – 4900 block of Katella Ave. – Two transients were reportedly living out of a cell phone tower enclosure. The caller requested that they leave. One subject arrested for trespassing. The subject was cited and released in the field.

July 13, 2019

Welfare Check – 2:48 p.m. – 6000 block of Orange Ave. – A female subject was reportedly sitting on the reporting party’s front porch and stated that she was lost. The subject seemed disoriented. Police were unable to locate the subject.
Municipal Code Violation – 8:33 p.m. – 9900 block of Barcelona Ln. – The caller reportedly loud construction noise coming from the location. The caller also wanted the subjects advised regarding the construction hours for the following day. Police advised the subjects regarding the noise. The subjects were almost done and would not be back the following day.

July 15, 2019

Suspicious Subject – 4:17 a.m. – 9000 block of Holder St. – A male subject and a female subject were reportedly going through mailboxes in the center of the complex. Police detained both subjects. The male subject was arrested for a parole hold and the female subject was arrested on an outstanding no-bail warrant on drug charges and identity theft.
Counseling – 10:11 a.m. – 8500 block of La Salle St. – The reporting party stated that she cut a friend’s hair and the girl was unhappy about it. The subject reportedly threatened to call the police if the hair wasn’t returned to her. Police determined that the incident was unfounded. The reporting party was counseled.

July 17, 2019

Grand Theft Report – 8:19 a.m. – 10800 block of Flora Parkway – Electrical breakers were reportedly taken overnight from approximately ten houses. The loss was valued at approximately $8,000.
Counseling – 7:28 p.m. – 5700 block of Lincoln Ave. – A subject reportedly mailed a check at a post office and the check was cashed by an unknown subject.
