July 11, 2019

Suspicious Subject – 7:31 p.m. – 7900 block of Collins Ln. – A subject was reportedly going door to door asking about packages last seen on Bridgewood.
Transient – 7:57 p.m. – 5300 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – Two homeless subjects were reportedly walking by vehicles. Police arrested a 29-year-old subject for a court order violation.

July 12, 2019

Suspicious Subject – 8:28 a.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A subject reportedly came into the doctor’s office and stated that she needed to speak to the police. The subject left the office in an unknown direction of travel. Police contacted the subject, who was determined to be a missing person out of another jurisdiction.
Health & Safety – 2:02 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A subject was possibly smoking marijuana in a vehicle in the parking lot.

July 13, 2019

Counseling – 11:08 a.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – The reporting party reportedly received a voicemail from “Social Security.” They returned the call and then gave the last four of their Social Security number and date of birth to an unknown subject. Counseled.
Disturbance (Subject) – 1:42 p.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – The caller was a tow truck driver. A female subject reportedly jumped in a Toyota Prius and tried to drive away while the car was hooked to the tow truck, possibly damaging the truck. Police mediated a civil issue. Both subjects took possession of their vehicles.

July 14, 2019

Disturbance (Subject) – 5300 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller reportedly heard yelling and hitting. Police mad contact with the subjects both parties. No prosecution desired.
Keep the Peace – 8:16 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The reporting party said that their iPhone was stolen from Buena Park and was currently pinging near a building. The phone was retrieved and a report taken.

July 15, 2019

Traffic Stop – 9:40 p.m. – Valley View/91 Fwy. (Buena Park) – Following a traffic stop, police arrested a 38-year-old Long Beach resident for an outstanding warrant. The vehicle was released to a responsible party and the subject was transported to Orange County Jail.
Carjacking – 10:19 p.m. – 5900 block of Thelma Ave. (Buena Park) – The caller advised a male subject pushed her out of her vehicle and drove off. Report taken.

July 16, 2019

Medical Aid – 6:18 a.m. – 5300 block of Seville Cir. – The caller reportedly fell out of bed. The subject was not injured but needed assistance in returning to bed.
Stray Animal – 7:50 a.m. – Walker/Oak – The caller had secured a small gray terrier in the vehicle. Police contacted the animal’s owner and the dog was returned.
