Flag Down – 2:12 p.m. – 5500 block of Fresca Dr. – Police were flagged down for a subject who needed a jump start for his vehicle. The vehicle was successfully jump started.

July 18, 2019

Found Person – 10:23 a.m. – 7900 block of Walker St. – The hospital requested assistance regarding a possible found person. The caller stated that the female was brought to the hospital by ambulance. She had been found inside a gym in Cypress and seemed confused. The hospital had trouble identifying the female because she would provide false names. Police were unable to identify the female due to her mental state, and she remained in the care of the hospital.
Counseling – 3:45 p.m. – 5000 block of Toulouse Dr. – The caller requested to speak with an officer regarding a possible civil matter. The caller advised that an ex-boyfriend owed her money; they established a payment plan, but she had not received payment. Counseled.

July 19, 2019

Traffic Stop – 2:50 a.m. – Lincoln/Moody (Cypress) – During a traffic stop, police conducted a search and subsequently arrested a 34-year-old Norwalk resident for possession of burglary tools, false personation imposing liability, making or passing fictitious checks, and an outstanding warrant.
Counseling – 6:25 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller requested counseling regarding possible harassment via text messages and cyberbullying.
Traffic Stop – 10:09 p.m. – Houston/Orleans – Following a traffic stop, police arrested a 31-year-old La Verne resident for false personation imposing liability.

July 20, 2019

Pedestrian Check – 9:25 a.m. – 7000 block of Moody St. – One subject was detained at Taser-point. A 29-year-old Buena Park subject was arrested on a bench warrant and parole violation. The subject was transported to Orange County Jail.
Disturbance (Party) – 11:37 p.m. – Del Serra/Santa Margarita – The caller reported possibly two houses with loud parties. Party advised and will comply.

July 21, 2019

Suspicious Circumstances – 7:35 a.m. – 8400 block of Moody St. – The front door of the business was reportedly shattered. Police confirmed a commercial burglary. The owner of the business responded, and a burglary report was taken.
Disturbance (Subject) – 6:26 a.m. – 7900 block of Walker St. – A subject reportedly refused to leave the lobby after being told to leave several times by the staff. The subject had been in the lobby for approximately four hours.

July 22, 2019

Suspicious Subject – 12:23 p.m. – Moody/La Palma – A male subject was reportedly asking nonsense questions of passersby. Police contacted the subject, who asked for directions to Fairmont. No assistance desired.
Public Works Information – 10:31 p.m. – 7792 Walker St. (La Palma Police Department) – A sprinkler near the flag pole in front of the police department was reportedly spraying a significant amount of water.

July 23, 2019

Police Information – 7:44 a.m. – 18600 block of Linda Cir. (Cerritos) – Multiple 911 calls reported a tree on fire on the 91 Fwy. before Carmentia. The fire department responded and extinguished the fire.
Trespassing – 8:12 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A known subject was reportedly trespassing on the property and asking customers to buy alcohol. Party advised and will comply.
