July 26, 2019

Request No Cite – 7:05 a.m. – 9300 block of Esther St. – The caller requested no citation on a boat in front of the residence. The husband forgot to move it and the caller was unable to move it. The caller was advised that this was the last exemption.
Municipal Code Violation – 4:45 p.m. – 5700 block of Orange Ave. – A camper and a trailer were reportedly in the parking lot. The subjects advised that they were going to camp out in the parking lot overnight for the Festival. The subjects claimed to be vendors through the Chamber of Commerce. Party advised and will comply.

July 27, 2019

Municipal Code Violation – 7:50 a.m. – 9200 block of Bloomfield Ave. – A subject was reportedly digging through trash cans to the rear of the location. Party advised and will comply.
Choking – 9:11 a.m. – 5400 block of Twin Lakes Dr. – A child reportedly swallowed a quarter. The child was conscious but trying to throw up but unable to. Incident handled by OCFA. Subject transported to the hospital.

July 28, 2019

Brandishing a Weapon – 1:38 p.m. – 5400 block of Katella Ave. – A man in a vehicle at the gas pumps reportedly had a gun and was involved in a road rage incident with another vehicle at the pumps. Police conducted a felony car stop and detained the driver, and cleared the vehicle. The subject was positively identified and arrested for brandishing a weapon, carrying a loaded firearm in public, and carrying an unregistered firearm. The subject was cited and released from Cypress city jail.
Extra Patrol Check – 6:10 p.m. – 9600 block of Juanita St. – The caller reportedly observed numerous subjects doing hand-to-hand transactions usually late at night after 10 p.m.

July 29, 2019

Traffic Hazard – 6:14 a.m. – Ball/Saint Charles – A cone was removed from the roadway.
Fraud Report – 9:30 a.m. – 5600 block of Plaza Dr. – The caller reportedly received an email from her boss to buy Amazon gift cards, and then she found out that the email did not come from him. The loss was $2000. Report taken.

July 30, 2019

Robbery – 2:02 a.m. – 11400 block of Anegada St. – The caller reported the loss of an iPhone. The subject was extremely intoxicated and said that his phone was forcibly taken from a bar. Police contacted the victim and it was difficult to obtain information from him. The subject was counseled to get some rest and to recall if he remembered anything.
Graffiti – 10:36 a.m. – 5700 block of Lincoln Ave. – The windows were vandalized with graffiti overnight. No permanent damage. The owner would clean the windows. Log item issued.

July 31, 2019

Assist Outside Agency – 12:13 a.m. – 9200 block of Bloomfield – OCFA was en route regarding a female subject who advised that she smoked too much marijuana and was panicking. She stated that she can’t breathe and was going numb and that she was alone. Incident handled by OCFA. Assisted.
Counseling – 8:56 a.m. – 5600 block of Plaza Dr. – The caller requested extra patrol checks for an ongoing problem with subjects doing donuts in the parking lot overnight and possibly causing damage to the asphalt.
