July 25, 2019

Traffic Stop – 8:41 a.m. – Orangethorpe/Valley View – Police conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested a 34-year-old Gardena resident for driving without a license, not having vehicle registration, and a felony bench warrant.
Welfare Check – 6:35 p.m. – 8400 block of Moody St. – A female subject was reportedly laying in front of the store for the past two hours. Party advised and will comply.

July 26, 2019

Disturbance (Subject) – 12:21 p.m. – 7900 block of Walker St. – A subject was reportedly refusing to leave after being discharged. The subject was refusing to cooperate and was detained in cuffs. The subject was injured while fighting in cuffs. The subject was arrested for trespass, resisting an officer and assaulting an officer.

July 27, 2019

Suspicious Circumstances – 7:36 p.m. – 5100 block of La Palma Ave. – A female subject reportedly stated that she took an unknown type drug. OCFA responded and the subject was transported to the hospital.
Counseling – 8:34 p.m. – 7500 block of Black Star Ln. – The caller requested counseling regarding issues with a contractor. Incident report taken.

July 28, 2019

Disturbance (Subject) – 8:53 p.m. – 5500 block of La Palma Ave. – A subject was reportedly cussing while on the phone and customers were complaining about the subject. Party advised and will comply.
Disturbance (Subject) – 10:41 p.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – Subjects were reportedly being loud and possibly drinking in the parking lot. Party advised and will comply.

July 29, 2019

Suspicious Occupied Vehicle – 10:42 a.m. – Pembury/Nearfield – A subject was reportedly passed out in a vehicle.
Traffic Stop – 11:04 p.m. – Valley View/San Lorenzo – Following a traffic stop, police arrested a 36-year-old Downey resident for outstanding warrants.

July 30, 2019

Disturbance (Music) – 7:27 a.m. – 8200 block of Walker St. – The caller reported loud music/drumming coming from the location. The administration was notified of the noise complaint.
Vehicle Tampering Report – 11:41 a.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – The gas tank of a business vehicle was reportedly punctured. Report taken.

July 31, 2019

Burglary Report – 8:38 a.m. – 7000 block of Moody St. – There was reportedly damage to the door with the inside ransacked overnight. The loss was unknown. Burglary report taken.
Traffic Stop – 1:55 p.m. – Carmenita/183rd (Cerritos) – During the course of a traffic stop, police conducted a search and arrested a 50-year-old Fullerton resident for an outstanding warrant and a 51-year-old Whittier resident for possession of stolen property and additional charges.
Vandalism Report – 7:53 p.m. – 7821 Walker St. (Central Park) – Various graffiti was reportedly etched into the wall of the men’s restroom next to the tennis courts. Public Works notified.
