The last concert of the Garden Grove Community Foundation’s (GGCF) Free Summer Concert Series hits the road and moves to Historic Main Street on Thursday, August 15, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The wildly-popular Journey tribute band, DSB, will headline the special event.

Historic Main Street will be closed at noon on concert day, from Garden Grove Boulevard to Acacia Parkway, in order to offer event go’ers a car-free experience, and highlight the culinary choices of Main Street restaurants. A beer and wine garden will be staged in the Pecor Plaza parking lot, with proceeds benefiting the GGCF Concert Series. Food-on-the-go choices will also be available in the Plaza lot, courtesy of food and dessert trucks.

The finale of ‘The Voice of Garden Grove,’ a singing competition open to high school students in the Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) will begin at 6:00 p.m. The winning contestant will receive $500, and another $500 will go to the GGUSD’s performing arts program. ‘The Voice’ will be live streamed on the GGCF’s Facebook page.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs for concert viewing.
