Rossmoor plans include even more fun ahead

Summer is slowly slipping away and school is already in session for many of you! The Rossmoor Community Services District held their final Concert and Movie in the Park event on Friday, August 2, 2019. The 2-3-1 Family Fun evening featured music from The Emperors and the movie, How to Train Your Dragon—The Hidden World. The aroma of fabulous food, like Dominoes Pizza, filled the balmy night air and a good time was had by hundreds of attendees. Thank you to everyone who, once again, made the Rossmoor summer events program such a huge success.

The District is still accepting donations of new and gently used board games, puzzles, toys, balls, sports equipment and sand toys. Donations will be collected at the Rush Park Main Office located at 3001 Blume Drive in Rossmoor, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. We will be accepting donations from now until the end of September 2019. We hope you will come see the new game room once it is completed. The donations flyer can be found on our website.

The good news is there is even more fun ahead! The District is already hard at work planning its fall and winter lineup which will include the annual School Ghoul 5K Run/Walk Event and the beloved Rossmoor Winter Festival and annual Toy/Gift Drive. Sponsorships are now available for Rossmoor Winter Festival 2019 which will take place on Friday, December 13th. Food trucks and vendors are welcome to sign up.
