August 9, 2019

Counseling – 9:28 a.m. – 3600 block of Howard Ave. – The reporting party’s 17-year-old brother was reportedly telling the RP that he didn’t care that she was his sister, he would have sexual intercourse with her, and now the brother was stealing her undergarments. The RP was concerned for her welfare. The brother lived at the location with the RP and her stepfather and mother. Counseled.
Patrol Check – 2:33 p.m. – 3500 block of Cerritos Ave. – Extra officers were requested for traffic issues in front of the school and for parents who were not listening to the supervision team.

August 10, 2019

Extra Patrol Check – 9:08 a.m. – 3700 block of Toland Ave. – The caller requested extra patrol checks after she woke up in the morning and discovered her University of Alambama flag thrown on her front lawn. The caller reviewed her camera and saw a male subject approach her residence and take down her flag at 1:22 a.m. The caller contacted her neighbor who was on vacation, and they reviewed their camera and saw three males attempting to get get into a vehicle parked on their driveway.
Petty Theft – 10:49 p.m. – 12300 block of Seal Beach Blvd. – An employee reported that a male subject stole a mirror, two watches, a pair of jeans, two shirts, and cologne. The suspect ran behind another business and dropped the items, which were recovered. Police located the subject, who was positively identified and subsequently arrested for shoplifting.

August 11, 2019

Transient – 9:40 a.m. – 11100 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. – The caller reported an ongoing issue with a transient causing problems at the business. Unable to locate.
Petty Theft Report – 2:08 p.m. – 3600 block of Howard Ave. – A $20 Razor scooter was reportedly stolen from outside the residence. The scooter had no serial number or way to identify it if found. The caller did not desire a report, but wanted the police to be aware and see if they recognized the suspect from the video. The caller was counseled on not leaving multiple unsecured items outside their front door and they were provided an event number.

August 12, 2019

Suspicious Subject – 4:33 p.m. – 10700 block of Los Alamitos Blvd. – A male subject reportedly appeared under the influence and was in the parking lot dancing by himself. Police made contact and the subject’s cousin took care of the subject.
Missing Juveniles – 5:28 p.m. – 4400 block of Katella Ave. – The caller stated that the caller’s two daughters, 12 years old and 14 years old, were supposed to wait for the caller at the business but weren’t there. The caller had been driving around for thirty minutes and couldn’t find them. Police made contact, and the children were located by the caller’s brother. Parties counseled.

August 13, 2019

Auto Theft Report – 1:34 p.m. – 10600 block of Bloomfield St. – The caller reported that two suspects were seen on video pulling up in a Uhaul truck with no front plate and stole the caller’s vehicle. Both vehicles took off together. The vehicle was located and recovered on August 15 by the Corona Police Department with two missing plates. No suspect was in custody.
Suspicious Subject – 11:00 p.m. – Florista/Cherry – A male subject was reportedly parked next to a white minivan and looked like he was trying to do something to the van with a crowbar, possibly tampering with the tires. Police contacted the subject, who was determined to be waxing his vehicles. Checked okay.

August 14, 2019

Fraud Report – 10:03 a.m. – 5000 block of Katella Ave. – The caller requested a police report regarding two checks that were cashed in 2017, as someone had reissued them with different information. The RP stated that the checks were written and sent to Texas in 2017 to a client and checks were cashed. The checks were reportedly reused and washed on July 29, 2019 at a bank in Texas. The crime occurred in Texas and the RP was advised to contact local police in Texas to file a police report.
Petty Theft Report – 10:39 a.m. – 11100 block of Tarawa Dr. – The caller reported that a bow and arrows were taken overnight from the back seat of his unlocked vehicle. The caller wanted to document thefts and that suspicious subjects had been roaming in the neighborhood, and requested that officer patrol there more often during the night. Log number issued.
Counseling – 5:24 p.m. – 10600 block of Oak St. – The caller reportedly found her water hose cut and wanted officers to be aware. There was no suspect information but was possibly related to a neighbor dispute. Counseled.

August 15, 2019

Hazard – 7:51 a.m. – Katella/Walnut – The caller reported rocks and glass in the westbound Katella left turn lane. Police determined that it was the remains of leftover road flares, caps and ash. Checked okay.
