Representative Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. (CA-39), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, announced that Insight Pacific, LLC in Brea, California secured a $8.5 million federal services contract with the United States Navy to repair and modernize pumping facilities at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
“Our small businesses in the 39th District are not only integral to our local economy, but also make valuable contributions to our national security,” said Rep. Cisneros. “I’m pleased that the United States Navy is making an investment in Insight Pacific, LLC and supporting jobs in Brea. I congratulate Insight Pacific, LLC and I will continue to be an advocate for our local businesses and manufacturing that is made in the 39th.”
Rep. Cisneros is a member of the House Armed Services Committee and House Veterans Affairs Committee. He recently secured several national security priorities in the FY20 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which has provisions that affect defense-related industries in the 39th District and throughout the United States. He recently completed his #MadeInThe39th events where he visited and toured local businesses in the 39th District, including defense and aerospace businesses.
