Don Sedgwick secures more local endorsements in run for Congress

The Sedgwick for Congress campaign announced even more endorsements from local leaders who recognize Conservative Don Sedgwick as the strongest candidate to beat liberal Katie Porter. Sedgwick is dominating the GOP primary, locking up major local endorsements and outraising his closest opponent 4:1 according to the most recent finance reports.

The endorsements released today are:

Former Mayor of Mission Viejo

Donald R. Froelich
Vice President & Board of Directors, Moulton Niguel Water District*

Allan Songstad
Former Mayor of Laguna Hills

Anthony Kuo
Mayor Pro Tem of Irvine

David Bass
Former Mayor of Lake Forest

In announcing his endorsement Councilmember Ed Sachs said, “Don Sedgwick has over 23 years of service as an elected official in district. It’s clear from how quickly he has gathered a groundswell of local support that Don is in the strongest position to beat liberal Katie Porter and is the most experienced Conservative leader in the race. I truly love how Don will listen before talking. I proudly endorse Don Sedgwick for CA-45. ”

“I’m so grateful for each and every endorsement announced today. Local support matters the most to me as we fight hard to protect and serve Orange County families,” said Sedgwick.
