Retired Marine Combat Fighter Pilot and Mayor of Mission Viejo Greg Raths announced his leading position based on polling, prior to taking the stage for a Congressional Debate hosted by the Orange County Republican Central Committee.
“This poll is proof that our campaign’s message of securing our borders and helping our veterans get the help they need, is resonating with voters across California’s 45th Congressional District,” said Paul Jensen, Spokesman for Greg Raths for Congress.
“Our winning message of fiscal responsibility and safety along with Greg’s unparalleled leadership experience make Greg the clear choice in 2020,” added Jensen.
“The United States remains a beacon of hope for a better life to many immigrants across the globe,” said Raths. “However, career politicians in Congress continue to support dangerous legislation that excuses illegal immigration and puts the desires of illegal immigrants above the safety of our citizens.”
“The safety of United States Citizens should be our leaders’ number one priority and it’s not until our borders are 100% secure that we can discuss comprehensive immigration reform.”
“As your Congressman I will continue the career of service I started over 30 years ago – one of protecting our citizens and standing-up for our veterans,” added Raths.
“My experience as a Combat Fighter Pilot for the US Marine Corps. makes me uniquely suited to understand exactly what our veterans need to thrive when they return home. They will know no greater ally than me in Washington.”
