August 16, 2019

Traffic Collision – 12:41 a.m. – Ball/Holder – The caller reported a single-vehicle traffic accident in front of the caller’s residence. The vehicle collided with the center divider. Police determined that the subject had been drinking and conducted field sobriety tests. Public Works was notified for damaged trees and bushes in the center divider. The driver was arrested for DUI. Report taken.
Robbery – 1:32 p.m. – 5700 block of Orange Ave. – A subject on drugs reportedly hit the caller and tried to take his bike. The caller had a laceration above the left eye. Police detained the subject and arrested him for assault and battery.

August 17, 2019

Disturbance (Subject) – 10:40 a.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – A customer was reportedly blocking the entrance with his vehicle after becoming upset over service. The caller told the subject that he was calling the police and the subject said that he was not afraid of the police. The subject was advised regarding trespassing.
Disturbance (Fight) – 2:24 p.m. – 4500 block of Avenida Grenada – Three subjects were reportedly involved in a fight. It was determined that the subjects were involved in a mutual combat over a skateboard. Two juveniles who were still at the location when police arrived were released to their parents with minor injuries.

August 18, 2019

Assist Outside Agency – 5600 block of Lincoln Ave. – A 56-year-old female was reportedly throwing up constantly. She was not sure if she was throwing up from a prior head injury or from alcohol. The subject had consumed a pint of vodka. Assisted.
Patrol Check – 7:45 p.m. – 5900 block of Orangewood Ave. – The caller believed that two subjects sitting at the park were possibly involved in a drug transaction.

August 19, 2019

Lost Property – 1:33 p.m. – 5400 block of Katella Ave. – The reporting party reportedly left a wallet at the checkstand and it was gone when the RP returned. The wallet was located and the RP went to pick it up.
Grand Theft Report – 2:11 p.m. – Undisclosed location – Two rings and a watch with a collective value of approximately $41,000 reportedly went missing while the reporting party was staying at the location. Report taken.

August 20, 2019

Health and Safety Violation – 9:49 a.m. – 9800 block of Valley View St. – The caller reportedly had a freshman in the office with a large amount of marijuana. Report taken.
Keep the Peace – 1:11 p.m. – Undisclosed location – Police were requested to keep the peace at the location with a subject who was upset that she was not being paid for a clinical trial she didn’t qualify for.

August 22, 2019

Burglary Report – 9:32 p.m. – 9500 block of Walker St. – The caller’s carport was reportedly broken into between 7 a.m. and the time of call, with a hinge broken off. Police were unable to confirm a loss. Vandalism report taken.
Counseling – 2:00 p.m. – 9800 block of Valley View St. – The caller requested contact regarding a student who was disciplined at school that day for a minor amount of drugs and was now afraid to go home.
