Orange County Congress of Republicans endorses Ed Sachs for State Assembly

The Orange County Congress of Republicans has announced its endorsement of Mission Viejo city councilman, Ed Sachs, for the 73rd State Assembly District. This latest endorsement comes on the heels of more than 25 current and former Republican elected officials supporting Ed Sachs’ campaign for State Assembly.

“The Orange County Congress of Republicans proudly endorse Ed Sachs, Mission Viejo City Councilmember and former Mayor, for the 73rd Assembly District. Ed represents classic Republican values. A sterling reputation, decades of national business leadership, a fighter for the burdened tax payer, plus a strong commitment to education excellence and school safety for all children.” President Anna Bryson stated. “As a true servant leader Ed will forge a bright future for the 73rd Assembly District.”

The Orange County Congress of Republicans is the Orange County chapter of the statewide California Congress of Republicans, a grassroots organization founded in 1989 and officially chartered by the California Republican Party.

“Republican grassroots are the lifeblood of any campaign and I am honored and fortunate to have the support of the Orange County Congress of Republicans for my campaign,” said Ed Sachs. “This Republican grassroots organization has the highest winning record for its endorsed Republican candidates and we share the view that the Republican Party needs to be more inclusive in order to prosper and court independent voters.”

To date, over twenty-five current and former elected officials have endorsed Ed Sachs for State Assembly, including five Orange County mayors and the highest-ranking Republican elected official in the county.

  1. I have been a Republican activist in South OC for almost 20 years and I have never even heard of this group. They don’t even seem to have a website.
