The Great Pacific Airshow announces a third jet team: The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds joins the 2019 lineup

Taking place, Oct. 4 – 6, The Great Pacific Airshow is pleased to announce that a third jet team, U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds, will join the 2019 Airshow lineup. The Thunderbirds will be joined by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the Royal Air Force Red Arrows making the Pacific Airshow the only North American airshow in 2019 that will feature three jet teams from three different countries.

“This year will be the best airshow we’ve ever produced. I take that back. It’s going to be the best airshow ever,” said Kevin Elliott, airshow director and CEO of Code Four, operators of the Great Pacific Airshow. “All of our performers are bringing their A-game and we cannot wait to get this party started.”

Performing for the Southern California crowds for the third time, the Thunderbirds demonstrate the training and precision of Air Force pilots while highlighting some of the maximum capabilities of the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Their mind-bending precision and choreographed sequences that electrify audiences with every pass, roll and mix of formation flying and solo routines.

The show marks the Southern California debut of the Red Arrows, who last flew in North America in 2008. Also soaring over the beach during the Pacific Airshow will be US Air Force F-35 Lightning II demo, F-18 Super Hornet, the A10 demo plus a host of other world-class performers.

For the first time ever, two Jetpack men will entertain the crowd in an exciting display is brought to the airshow by JetPack Aviation.

For those aviation fans who want to see the airshow action up close, the Great Pacific Airshow has several premium ticket options. The Flight Line Club features hosted food and bar, enhanced audio and premium viewing. The Drop Zone offers food and a variety of beverages for sale and is located close to the water.
