Human Resources expert Chuck Landon discusses how small businesses can mitigate risks & maintain compliance

Human Resources expert Chuck Landon will be the guest speaker at the next Cypress Chamber of Commerce Networking Breakfast on Tuesday, October 8th at the Residence Inn by Marriott at 4931 Katella Avenue starting at 7:30 a.m.

Chuck Landon will share some of the issues that smaller businesses face without the help of their own in-house Human Resources Department. He will also present some easy ways that small businesses can stay in compliance with their employees, as well as cover some of the latest rules and regulations for dealing with staffing at their business and answer questions.

Chuck is the Founder and CEO of Landon HR Consulting. He is a native to Southern California and has spent over 35 years in various Human Resource Management roles with major Fortune 500 companies (Domestic and International) including aerospace, automotive, distribution and food and beverage industry. While the primary focus of his company is assisting and supporting businesses in legal compliance, they also assist in all areas of HR including staffing, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training, and safety.

Cost of the breakfast is $20 in advance or $25 for nonmembers or those who do not register in advance. Attendees are also encouraged to bring a door prize to promote their product or service. The programs include a meet and greet time, self-introductions, breakfast, speaker and a question and answer session if time permits.

The Chamber breakfasts, which are open to the public, are held on the second Tuesday of each month all year round.
