Gregg Young & the 2nd St. Band to play at Long Beach Marathon

Award-winning Gregg Young, of Gregg Young & the 2nd St. Steel Drum Band is thrilled to be performing live for runners at the 2019 JetBlue Long Beach Marathon on Sunday, October 13.

Young (Guitar & Vocals), as well as PanMan Ross Harper (Steel Drum) and Casey Jones (Percussion & Vocals) are performing for runners that come from all walks of life! They will be playing on the Shoreline Village Stage from 6:00am – 9:00am.

Young’s original song, “Runner,” has been dubbed the official song of the Long Beach Marathon. Dually noted, another original track of Gregg’s, “Pound the Pavement,” is a song meant to inspire runners everywhere. As an avid runner himself, Young is honored to participate in encouraging runners with a beat, pace & groove while giving back to the community through music.

Members of the community and running enthusiasts are encouraged to come out, participate, and cheer on runners, wheelchair racers, and cyclists! Don’t miss this amazing community event and award-winning music from Gregg Young & the 2nd Street Steel Drum Band.
