A native Californian, Janice Sclafani was born and raised in Tustin and shares a love for the local waters. As a child, she recalls spending summers at her family’s Balboa Peninsula home. She and her husband belong to the Balboa Yacht Club and enjoy boating together in their free time.
Today, Sclafani is Regional Vice President of Sales, Essity Professional Hygiene – West U.S.
A results-driven sales leader, she has established a 32-year career in sustainable paper manufacturing. Her expertise is in corporate operations, sales management and training, as well as enhancement of supply chains and alternative distribution channels.
Sclafani has a proven capability to implement change, lead new business initiatives and effectively influence corporate policy. We believe her professional experience along with her passion for sustainability will benefit our shared mission here at Coastkeeper.
“Almost my entire career, I have worked for paper organizations where national and community sustainability is the core to corporate ethics. Over the course of time, I look forward to shaping my goals as I understand how I can better contribute to the organization.” – Janice Sclafani, New Board Member at Orange County Coastkeeper
