Orange County Professional Firefighters Association PAC endorse Ed Sachs for State Assembly

The Orange County Professional Firefighters Association PAC has announced their endorsement of Ed Sachs for State Assembly. This latest endorsement is the first major public safety endorsement to be made in the campaign and comes on the heels of more than 25 current and former Republican elected officials supporting Ed Sachs’ campaign for State Assembly.

“For many, this time of year serves as a reminder of the danger and challenges our brave firefighters face, but Ed Sachs’ leadership and support year-round is what truly makes the difference in making sure our firefighters have the resources and support they need when it matters most,” said OCPFA President Tim Steging. “The more than 1,000 Firefighters and Paramedics of the Orange County Professional Firefighters Association are proud to support Ed Sachs for State Assembly because our brave men and women, as well as the residents of the 73rd Assembly District, can count on him to continue to make their safety his top priority year-round.”

The Orange County Professional Firefighters Association PAC represents the more than 1,000 firefighters and paramedics that make up their association and is the only association of its kind in the 73rd Assembly District. Their endorsement was highly sought after by all Republican challengers in this race that applied and went through the thorough vetting and interview process.

“I am honored to receive the support of our county’s courageous firefighters and first responders,” said Ed Sachs. “My South County district is home to thousands of acres of open space that our residents enjoy but that also presents public safety challenges during this time of year. Making certain that we are doing all we can to proactively mitigate the fire risk in South County and giving our brave firefighters the resources they need to combat this threat has been and will remain one of my top priorities.”

To date, the Sachs for Assembly campaign has been honored to remain the only campaign with endorsements from public safety, a local grassroots republican organization, over twenty-five current and former Republican elected officials and the Chair of the County Board of Supervisors.
