The Rossmoor Community Services District’s Recreation Department is pleased to announce the return of Rossmoor’s 7th Annual Holiday Toy Drive. Due to so many gracious donations received over the past several years, the RCSD has once again partnered with the OC Sheriff’s Department’s Operation Santa Claus and Senior Santa programs. Thank you to those that donated gifts contributing to the success of such a wonderful cause. It’s easy to participate! While you’re already out shopping for the holidays, just pick up an additional gift from the suggested items below. Or, you can pick up a gift suggestion tag for an infant, child or senior from Rush Park and shop for an item on their list.

Please return new, unwrapped items to the Rossmoor Community Services District’s Main Office located at Rush Park—3001 Blume Dr. in Rossmoor Monday thru Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Gifts for toddlers, teens and girls are most needed. Suggested items include receiving blankets, baby care products, baby toys, educational toys, car seats, clothing with tags attached, bikes, sleeping bags, backpacks, sporting goods, dolls, trucks, Lego’s, board games, electronic games, luggage. Gift cards and checks (made payable to Operation Santa Claus or Senior Santa) to purchase senior items and medical supplies are also welcome. Operation Santa Claus helps distribute over 42,000 toys and gifts to children who are abandoned, neglected, abused or placed in foster care. With the help of Senior Santa, nearly 2,100 elderly, disabled adults receive gifts annually. Toys for Tots & Spark of Love support and contribute to the efforts of Operation Santa Claus & Senior Santa.
