  1. Reinforcing his status as the clear choice for UNIONS in the race for State Senate District 29, today U.S. Army veteran, businessman, and former State Senator Josh Newman earned an influential endorsement from ANOTHER LABOR UNION.

    1. Robin,

Thank you for reading Orange County Breeze, for contributing articles to Orange County Breeze and for tirelessly commenting on articles at Orange County Breeze (and a multitude of other online news sites). All citizens, before voting, should be as thoughtful and analytical as you are.

You spotlight a common tactic by Democrats — seeking out labor union endorsements, then publicizing the endorsements as a way to convince voters to support them by voting for them.

But you leave off half your argument by assuming that all readers will understand why voting for a union-endorsed (and likely union-funded) politician is not in the voters’ best interests.

For those who do not understand why an endorsement might show that the person endorsed should not be voted for, you need to explain the downside to union support, endorsement, and funding.

Again, thank you for reading and commenting at Orange County Breeze!
