Fox Sports Net analyst Chris Rix to speak at CIF-SS Championship Luncheon

On Monday, November 25, the CIF Southern Sec on will hold its 44th Annual Championship Football Press Conference and Luncheon. The keynote speaker for the luncheon will be Fox Sports Net broadcaster, Chris Rix.

Rix attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School, where he played quarterback and receiver. He earned All-Serra League second-team honors as a receiver as a senior. Rix was Honorable mention All-USA selection by USA Today as a senior. After high school, Rix went to Florida State. A Freshman All-American, he also became the first four-year starter at quarterback for Coach Bobby Bowden. After college Rix signed with the San Diego Chargers before moving behind the microphone.

Besides his duties as a sideline analyst for the Fox Sports West-Ford Game of the Week, Rix also runs a football skills camp and is a motivational speaker.

The luncheon will feature representatives from all 28 finals teams, as well as the four championship finalsts teams from the two 8-Man Divisions.

The luncheon begins at 11 a.m. at The Grand Convention and Meeting Center in Long Beach (4101 E. Willow St.). All (and only) interested members of the media are invited. Please RSVP to Anita Fopma ([email protected]) as soon as possible in order to get an accurate count.
