Crystal Wilkerson, jaNell Adams recognized as La Palma’s 2019 Employees of the Year

At it’s December 17th meeting, the La Palma City Council recognized Human Resources Specialist Crystal Wilkerson as the 2019 Employee of the Year and Recreation Coordinator jaNell Adams as the 2019 Supervisor/Professional Employee of the Year.

“Crystal consistently ensure that all City employees are given the care they deserve while also safeguarding the values and standards of the City,” said Administrative Services Director Sea Shelton. “Since joining the City on 2000, Crystal has taken on many roles and has exceeded the expectations in terms of her quality of work, enthusiasm, and commitment. La Palma is so proud to have dedicated employees like Crystal.”

“Joining the City in 2010, jaNell has grown professionally and consistently demonstrates her dedication to the City,” said Community Services Director Mike Belknap. “jaNell has been instrumental in leading the Recreation Division, serving as a mentor to staff, and training one of the best part-time teams in recent history. jaNell is an asset to the City and its residents.”

The City of La Palma’s Employee of the Year program recognizes those who show outstanding job performance, make significant contributions to the work environment, and maintain high standard of personal conduct.
