December 12, 2019

Burglary Report – 5:19 a.m. – Centerpointe – A delivery person found a front window smashed at the location. Report taken.
Found Property – 1:07 p.m. – Shasta/Westra – A bog containing prescriptions was found. Police returned the property to the owner.

December 13, 2019

Pedestrian Check – 5:05 a.m. – Carolyn/Donna – Police contacted a pedestrian and subsequently arrested a 37-year-old Huntington Beach resident for receiving/concealing stolen property and unlawful use of an access card.
Welfare Check – 7:28 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller received a text message with suspicious comments and requested a welfare check on her daughter. The police contacted the subject and provided her with counseling and resources. The subject was advised to contact her mother.

December 14, 2019

Stray Animal – 12:21 p.m. – Monterey/Barcelona – The caller reported a 40-60 pound black dog and advised that the same dog was out the day before. Police secured the dog in the rear of the unit and released the animal to SEAACA.
Counseling – 8:57 p.m. – 5200 block of Dumaine Dr. – The caller requested to speak with an officer regarding issues with a tenant living in the caller’s mother’s home. Counseled.

December 15, 2019

Unknown Trouble – 5:56 p.m. – 5300 block of Andrew Dr. – A female subject was yelling about unknown trouble, possibly a male subject having a seizure. OCFA was requested and the subject was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Stolen Vehicle – 11:32 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Centerpointe – Police engaged in a pursuit of a vehicle on the freeway. An airship arrived in support. A felony traffic stop was initiated on the 105 Fwy. Two subjects were detained and subsequently arrested on charges including receiving/concealing stolen property, grand theft, possession of burglary tools, parole violation, evading a peace officer, and unlawful taking/driving a vehicle. The vehicle was confirmed stolen and the owner of the vehicle was notified of its recovery.

December 16, 2019

Vehicle Tampering Report – 2:42 p.m. – 8100 block of Walker St. – The exhaust was reportedly cut on the vehicle. Police confirmed the vehicle tampering. Report taken.

December 17, 2019

Indecent Exposure – 11:03 a.m. – 7821 Walker St. (Central Park) – Two subjects were reportedly seen having sex in the park. No prosecution desired. Field interviews taken.
Area Check – 8:35 p.m. – 7800 block of Norann Cir. – A family was reportedly going from house to house speaking in a “derogatory tone,” possibly Christmas caroling or begging for money. Police were unable to locate the subjects.

December 18, 2019

Unknown Trouble – 7:18 p.m. – 4500 block of El Rancho Verde Dr. (Cerritos) – The caller reported that his wife saw the caretaker’s boyfriend hiding in the garage. Call transferred to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Petty Theft Report – 9:15 p.m. – 5000 block of Cottonwood Ln. – The caller owns an online business and sold two pairs of shoes to a subject. The subject returned one pair of shoes, but the shoes that were delivered back to the business were not the shoes originally purchased.
