The New Majority announced its endorsement of Michelle Steel to represent the people of California’s 48th Congressional District.
“The New Majority is thrilled to support Michelle Steel for Congress, and we urge others to do the same,” said Orange County Chairman, Steve Craig. “Through her own incredible life story, Michelle has shown her dedication to public service and constant willingness to fight for the needs of her community. She has worked to ensure fairness in our tax system, make government more efficient and has implemented commonsense solutions to protect our environment. Michelle is exactly who we need in Washington, fighting for jobs, lower taxes and all the values we hold dear.”
Steel said, “I am honored to have the support of The New Majority. Since its inception, The New Majority has been a voice of reason here in California, and in Orange County. They have championed the causes of individual freedom, lower taxes and limited, but efficient government. I’m grateful for their endorsement.”
Steel will compete in the March 3rd Primary for the chance to challenge incumbent Democrat Harley Rouda in the November 2020 General Election.
