Since its founding in 1961, the Republican Women Federated club representing West Orange County has been known as “Rossmoor-Los Alamitos.” Although it always had members who lived in nearby Orange County cities such as Cypress and La Palma as well as greater Long Beach, in recent years it became challenging when potential members erroneously assumed the club was just for Republican women who lived in Rossmoor or Los Alamitos. For these reasons and others, the membership voted to rename the club to West Orange County while maintaining its proud heritage that goes back to 1961.

West Orange County Republican Women Federated begins the New Year with an exciting meeting on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Cypress Courtyard Marriott (5865 Katella Avenue at Valley View). Beginning at 9:15 a.m. with an Americana buffet breakfast the cost is $25 for members and $28 for non-members. Orange County Central Committee member Leroy Mills, an associate club member, shares key issues related to the 2020 election. Patriotic members and guests are encouraged to wear their favorite Trump attire.

Special guest California Federation of Republican Women President Susan Blair will install the club’s 2020 board of directors. Blair will highlight what Republican women plan to do to take back California and Keep America Great by sending more Republicans to Sacramento and D.C.

“Get involved!” extolls club President-elect Nancy Hathcock. “The primary is less than two months away and the national election will be here before you know it. Women in West Orange County who yearn to be involved to stop the assault of socialism/communism should attend our January 18 meeting. They will be welcomed by others who want to Keep America Great!”

The West Orange County club, which serves west Orange County cities and greater Long Beach, welcomes like-minded women and men who want to impact local, state and national politics. Reservations can be made at: [email protected]
