December 26, 2019

Municipal Code Violation – 4:16 p.m. – Centerpoite Dr. – Ten teenagers were reportedly riding through the parking lot on skateboards. The caller stated that the teens were hyperactive and possibly had been drinking. Police contacted five juveniles. The reporting party stated that he wanted the juveniles advised regarding trespassing and pointed out the “No Skateboarding” signs in the area. The subjects were advised and left the area.

December 27, 2019

Pedestrian Check – 1:38 a.m. – 5900 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A subject was reportedly carrying a fire extinguisher. The subject refused to speak with police before running across the street and left the fire extinguisher behind. No identifying information was found on the fire extinguisher to link it to a local business. Found property report taken.
Spousal Abuse – 8:35 p.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – The caller’s mother’s boyfriend reportedly hit the caller with fists. The subject had reportedly been heavily drinking that evening. Police arrested a 41-year-old male for a felony warrant.

December 28, 2019

Vehicle Check – 2:21 a.m. – Fresca/Centerpointe – Police detained a male subject for having in plain view tools used to cut off catalytic converters. Police conducted a search and also found a shaved key in the vehicle. A female who was also detained attempted to throw away a meth pipe. Police also determined that the VIN on the vehicle did not match the plates. The vehicle was impounded. The female was arrested for possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia. The male was arrested for possession of burglary tools and a misdemeanor warrant.
Warrant Arrest – 11:16 a.m. – 8000 block of Walker St. – A male subject was reportedly sleeping in a van. Police made contact and arrested a 21-year-old subject out of San Bernardino for outstanding warrants. The van was removed by a friend.
Trespassing – 5:07 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A male subject in a store was reportedly acting suspiciously, laughing and making customers feel uncomfortable. The subject had been at the location since 1 p.m. Police arrested the subject for trespassing and an outstanding warrant.

December 29, 2019

Assist Other Department – 1:46 a.m. – Orangethorpe/Valley View – Buena Park Police was pursuing a motorcycle with speeds at approximately 115 MPH. The chase continued on the freeway and police were joined by a helicopter. The chase was eventually taken up by the California Highway Patrol.
Foot Patrol – 6:26 p.m. – Flood Control Channel – Police conducted a foot patrol for recent fire and multiple subjects who had warrants. Police arrested a 38-year-old female subject for an outstanding warrant.

December 30, 2019

Medical Aid – 8:36 a.m. – 5400 block of Andrew Dr. – A 99-year-old female reportedly suffered a severe nosebleed. OCFA responded and the subject was transported to the hospital.
Counseling – 9:40 a.m. – 7400 block of Warren Cir. – The reporting party requested counseling regarding the neighbor’s dog jumping over the fence.

December 31, 2019

Traffic Stop – 3:08 p.m. – Patton/Valley View (Buena Park) –Police conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 27-year-old Buena Park resident for an outstanding warrant. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
Brandishing a Weapon – 11:51 p.m. – Coyote Creek/Orangethorpe – The caller stated that a subject pulled out a machete and threatened to cut off body parts. Police conducted an area check and located the machete in the flood control channel. An incident report was taken. No victims desired prosecution.

January 1, 2020

Warrant Arrest – 9:39 a.m. – Valley View/Los Feliz (Buena Park) – Police arrested a 23-year-old female subject for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. The driver of the vehicle was cited and the vehicle left legally parked.
Domestic Violence – 7:38 p.m. – 7900 block of Walker St. – The victim was reportedly punched in the mouth.The caller was asked by the victim to call 911. The victim was uncooperative and then claimed that there was no physical attack and advised that a dog hit her in the mouth. The subject refused help from police and medical treatment from OCFA. A cab was requested for the subject.
