On Sunday, January 26, 2020, from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Westminster Boulevard, between Brookhurst Street and Euclid Street, and Taft Street, between Westminster Boulevard to Woodbury Street, will be closed for the 8th annual Tet Parade. Motorists are asked to plan accordingly to avoid delays.
Residents and businesses in the area have been notified in advance. Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA) bus routes will be impacted by the street closure.
The Garden Grove Police Department’s Traffic Unit will be on site during closure times to direct traffic and suggest alternate routes.
The 8th annual Tet Parade begins at 9:00 a.m. with an opening ceremony featuring traditional festivities at Westminster Boulevard and Bowen Street. The parade will follow ending at Euclid Street. The event is hosted by the Vietnamese American Federation of Southern California, and co-sponsored by the City of Garden Grove.
