Announcement of Colonel Robert Wooldridge as Assistant Division Commander of 40th Infantry Division

I am pleased to announce, effective 1 February 2020, COL Robert Wooldridge’s assignment as Assistant Division Commander, 40th Infantry Division. COL Wooldridge replaces Brigadier General Nick Ducich who departs to serve for a two-year tour as Assistant Director, Domestic Operations and Force Development (J3/5/7), National Guard Bureau, Washington, D.C. In this assignment, BG Ducich is assisting Chief NGB and Director J3/5/7 in formulating, managing, and distributing resources and the direction and control of all National Guard domestic operations across the nation.

COL Wooldbridge is a proven leader who has served in multiple key leadership positions which include Chief of Staff 40th Infantry Division, Commander 100th Troop Command, and J6 – Deputy Chief of Staff for C4IM and Cyber. COL Wooldridge brings a wealth of experience and professional knowledge to this new assignment.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to BG Ducich for his impressive and dedicated service as the Deputy Commanding General, 40th Infantry Division and as full time Installation Commander of Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos.
