February 3, 2020

Grand Theft – 3:33 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – Occurred on 2/1/20 between 1:00 p.m. and
3:00 p.m., unknown suspect(s) entered the store and stole approximately $2,100.00 worth of liquor.
Stolen Vehicle Report – 8:52 p.m. – 5000 block of Lincoln Ave. – The victim reported that his silver 2002 BMW 5 series was stolen from the parking lot of the location on 1/30/20.

February 4, 2020

Arrest – 8:30 a.m. – 10900 block of Meridian Drive – From a call for service, a subject was arrested for several outstanding warrants and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Petty Theft – 9:16 a.m. – 6900 block of Grand Manan Drive – Occurred overnight, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet, cologne, and approximately $300.00 cash.

February 5, 2020

Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 2:04 a.m. – 5500 block of Lincoln Ave. – An unoccupied stolen vehicle was recovered. The vehicle was a 2001 Honda Accord 4-dr, reported yesterday out of Long Beach.
Pedestrian Check – 10:12 a.m. – Knott/Lincoln – From a pedestrian check, a male subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

February 6, 2020

Traffic Stop – 1:15 a.m. – Lincoln/Valley View – From a car stop, a male subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
Graffiti – 7:15 a.m. – Orangewood/Halawa – An unknown suspect spray painted “SUEK” and “SIUR 714” in blue paint on the City-owned block wall.

February 7, 2020

Commercial Burglary – 4:48 a.m. – 4900 block of Lincoln Ave – At 4:29 a.m., an unknown female gained access into the building and stole a credit card reader from the front counter.
Assault/Battery – 1:17 p.m. – 4300 block of Lincoln Ave. – Officers responded to an assault and battery after an unknown female suspect grabbed the victim, injuring her slightly. The suspect was described as a white, female in her 50’s with blonde hair and last seen fleeing in a black truck, towing a horse trailer.
Residential Burglary – 3:07 p.m. – 9000 block of Moody St. – Between 10:00 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the residence through an unlocked sliding glass door and stole $200 cash and credit cards.

February 8, 2020

DUI Traffic Collision – 12:38 a.m. – Cerritos/Moody – A female driver drove through a red light and collided into a fence. She attempted to drive away from the scene, but the vehicle became inoperable after about 200 yards. The subject was arrested for DUI.
RACES Drill – 8:30-11:00 a.m. – Citywide – Cypress officers hosted Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES) volunteers for drills involving mock calls for service broadcast from other RACES volunteers at West-Comm.
Grand Theft from Vehicle – 12:28 p.m. – 9500 block of Weybridge Ct. – Sometime the previous night, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole a $1500 laptop.

February 9, 2020

DUI Traffic Collision – 1:07 a.m. – Valley View/Orangewood – A male driver collided into the center median, which caused his vehicle to become disabled. The subject was determined to be DUI and arrested.
Burglary – 2:30 a.m. – 5800 block of Ball Rd. – Officers responded to a burglary alarm and upon arrival they found a suspect breaking into a box truck in the parking lot. He was arrested for commercial burglary, vehicle burglary and two outstanding traffic warrants.
