February 24, 2020
Commercial Burglary – 6:11 a.m. – 4800 block of Katella Avenue – Occurred over the weekend, unknown suspect(s) gained entry into a storage container and stole several power tools.
Grand Theft – 8:52 p.m. – 5400 block of Katella Ave. – Victim left her purse on the front seat while she loaded her vehicle with groceries. An unknown suspect stole the purse, which contained cash and a cell phone.

Traffic Stop – 11:23 a.m. – 5800 block of Katella Ave. – From a traffic stop, a male subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Missing Adult – 4:21 p.m. – 5600 block of Danny Avenue – A father called from Laguna Beach to report his daughter missing. She has not been heard from in three days.
February 26, 2020
Arrest – 2:19 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – From a call for service, a male subject was arrested for shoplifting.
Robbery – 2133 hours – 5000 block of Ball Rd. – A male subject with a red hoodie and a black hand gun demanded money from the cashier. Suspect was last seen in a white vehicle northbound in the parking lot.
February 27, 2020
Arrest – 5:17 a.m. – Ball/Roanne (Anaheim) – Anaheim Police Department stopped a vehicle involved in a grand theft from our city. Cypress Police arrested two juveniles for possession of stolen property and false identity to the police.
Vehicle Pursuit – 7:26 a.m. – Sumner/Crescent – OCCAT Detectives requested assistance with a car stop on a stolen vehicle leaving the area. A felony car stop was attempted at Sumner and Lincoln and the suspect fled in the vehicle. A pursuit ensued, and after approximately 1/2 mile distance, the suspect crashed the vehicle at Moody and New York and fled on foot. The collision resulted in a minor injury to another party. A parameter was quickly established and the suspect was captured after he was escorted out of the rear yard by an area resident. The suspect was positively identified and arrested for possession of stolen property, felony evading, and felony hit and run.
Suspicious Subject – 6:30 p.m. – 5000 block of Ball Rd. – The business owner called to report a suspicious male wearing rubber gloves casing the store and looking into vehicles in the parking lot. Officers located the male at Orange Avenue and Moody Street where he fled on foot. A foot pursuit ensued before the male surrendered to officers and PSD Kubo on the 5400 block of Moody Street. During the foot pursuit, an off-duty Officer witnessed the male throw a bag onto the roof of the business. Officers searched the roof and located a bag containing over three ounces of cocaine. The male subject was arrested for obstructing/delaying an officer, destruction/concealing evidence, and possession of cocaine for sales.

Stolen Vehicle – 5:29 p.m. – 5500 block of Crescent Ave. – The victim called to report that
between 02/27/2020 at 10 p.m. and the time of call, an unknown suspect(s) stole his custom 2017 Harley Davidson Breakout.
Vehicle Burglary – 7:11 p.m. – 4900 block of Katella Avenue – The victim reported that his cell phone and wallet were taken from his unlocked vehicle in the parking lot.

Vandalism – 10:06 p.m. – 9300 block of Moody St. – While on a patrol check, an officer located large amounts of graffiti in the Men’s restroom. The graffiti was in black spray paint and read “Slob!” and “Nastylane.”
Traffic Stop – 10:48 p.m. – Walker/Lincoln – From a traffic stop, a female subject was arrested for an outstanding traffic warrant and a second female subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
March 1, 2020
Missing Person – 4:47 a.m. – 9800 block of Fonte – A female subject was reported missing person by her parents after failing to return home from a night club. The subject returned several hours later.
Arrest – 10:07 p.m. – 5900 block of Corporate – From a call for service, a male subject was arrested for possession of drugs for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of counterfeit currency.
