Melissa Fox issues statement looking forward to November primary

Irvine Councilwoman Melissa Fox’s campaign for Assembly District 68 released a statement following her second place finish in the March 3rd primary election, ensuring a spot in the November general election.

Reacting to the news, Councilwoman Fox released the following statement:

“I’d like to first give my immense thanks to all of our supporters, volunteers, neighbors, elected leaders, working people, grassroots activists and those who joined our effort in this important election. Tuesday’s result is a reflection of the inclusive, common-sense campaign we have been running from the start, dedicated to tearing down extremism and fighting for common-sense solutions to the issues we face. I look forward to continuing to fight together for better jobs, affordable health care and education, a strong middle class, women’s and LGBTQ rights, and to protect our planet. Together, we will move Orange County forward in November.”

  1. You really need to keep your nose out of the Veterans cemetery. You did not serve, you do not get to decide for the people of Irvine. Many people say you are In The deep pockets of the developers. You will lose this coming November because we veterans will vote against you.
