Buena Park Library to close in response to COVID-19

In response to the growing concern of the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), the Buena Park Library announced that it will be closing the Library beginning Saturday, March 14th through Tuesday, March 31st. This is in support of the State of California’s guidelines regarding social distancing and public health. Library fines will not be assessed during this time and patrons may return books when the Library reopens.

We encourage patrons to continue using the Library’s digital resources. E-books, audiobooks, magazines, movies, TV shows, and music are all available 24/7 through services including Libby, Tumblebooks, RBDigital, and Hoopla. Because of the library closure, we have doubled the number of check-outs for patrons who are using Hoopla this month. Patrons can also keep informed about current events by using the NewsBank database, contact a live tutor through HelpNow, or conduct research for projects using the Explora database. Please visit www.buenaparklibrary.org for more information regarding our digital library services.

The health and safety of our patrons and staff is our number one priority and we will evaluate and make adjustments as new information becomes available.
The Buena Park Library District is located at 7150 La Palma Ave, Buena Park.
