Seal Beach Police Coffee with a Cop postponed in response to COVID-19

As a result of the spread of COVID-19, the City of Seal Beach has declared a local emergency in order to help prepare for the potential impacts of this virus.

Although there have been no known cases of Coronavirus in Seal Beach, the City is limiting public gatherings and special events in order to help stop the spread of infection. As a result, the Coffee with a Cop event scheduled for Monday, March 16th from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Seal Beach Tennis Center has been postponed.

“Although we were very much looking forward to hosting this event, out of an abundance of caution we decided to postpone it,” said Seal Beach Mayor Schelly Sustarsic. “When local health officials notify us that restrictions on gatherings are lifted, we will reschedule.”

The Seal Beach Police Department will notify the public when the event is rescheduled.
