Rep. Cisneros shares CA-39 resource guide for small businesses affected by coronavirus

Representative Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. (CA-39) shared his official resource guide for California’s 39th District small businesses affected by the coronavirus. The guide includes information on the Small Business Administration Economic Injury Disaster Loans, national, state, and CA-39 resources, and frequently asked questions. The small business guide can be found HERE. Following a red-eye flight to D.C. on Friday, March 27th, Rep. Cisneros voted to pass the CARES Act, the coronavirus stimulus package, to provide more than $275 billion in small business relief, including funding for forgivable loans to small businesses, debt relief for current and new SBA borrowers, and immediate disaster grants.

“As the 39th District rallies together to combat the coronavirus, I know that many small businesses have had to make difficult decisions in order to keep our community safe. Half of America’s jobs come from small businesses, and Congress has a responsibility to help them weather this storm,” said Rep. Cisneros. “Throughout the past few weeks, I’ve been on the phone with local chambers and small businesses in the 39th District to listen and provide them with updates on the coronavirus. I created this coronavirus resource guide so that our small businesses have one central location to find the information they need during this crisis.”

Throughout the past two weeks, Rep. Cisneros talked with local Chambers of Commerce and small businesses about issues they were facing amid the public health crisis, resources that can help them, and how Congress can support them.

Rep. Cisneros has been in constant communication with House leadership and his colleagues on the House Committee on Small Business:
