Anaheim native serves with Patrol Squadron 4

Nadila Khan, from Anaheim, Calif., and a naval flight officer assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 4, monitors communications aboard a P-8A Poseidon aircraft during a maritime domain awareness mission over the Strait of Gibraltar in support of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group.

VP-4 is forward deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations and is assigned to Commander, Task Force 67, responsible for tactical control of deployed maritime patrol and reconnaissance squadrons throughout Europe and Africa.
