March 30, 2020

Vehicle Burglary – 8:49 a.m. – 4400 block of Casa Grande Circle – Occurred sometime over the weekend, an unknown suspect gained entry to the victim’s work truck by unknown means and stole approximately $10,000 worth of plumbing tools.
Shoplifting – 11:55 a.m. – 6800 block of Katella Avenue – From a theft that just occurred. an officer located the suspect vehicle fleeing the area and initiated a traffic stop. One of the occupants was found to be in possession of stolen property. He was arrested for shoplifting and released in the field with a citation. The property was returned.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 6:00 p.m. – 4900 block of Katella Ave. – The reporting party reported she had located her 2019 Maserati in the parking lot at the location. The vehicle had been previously reported stolen out of Inglewood. No suspect information.
Suspicious Subject – 7:14 p.m. – 5800 block of Orange Ave. – An officer observed a suspicious transient in the 5800 block of Orange Ave. As he was checking the area for a crime, a witness stated he had observed the transient throw a wood 2×4 through a front window. The subject was contacted and arrested for misdemeanor vandalism.

March 31, 2020

Vandalism – 11:13 a.m. – 5800 block of Orange Ave. – An unknown suspect threw a brick through the windshield of the victim’s car. This incident was likely related to nightshift’s vandalism arrest the previous night.
Forgery – 1:37 p.m. – 4900 block of Katella Ave. – From a call for service of a female attempting to pass a forged check, a female subject was arrested for forgery.
Arrest – 6:21 p.m. – 5200 block of Orange Ave. – A female victim responded to the Police Department lobby to report her ex-boyfriend had been stalking her. During the investigation, the ex-boyfriend drove by. He was stopped, contacted, and arrested for violation of PC 646.9(a) – stalking, PC 653.2(a) – harassment/torment – and CVC 14601.1(a) – driving with a suspended license (all misdemeanors).

April 1, 2020

Arrest – 4:34 a.m. – 9500 block of Valley View – Officers were dispatched to the gas station regarding a semi-truck that collided into the gas pumps. A male subject was found to be DUI and in possession of approximately 300 lbs. of methamphetamine. He was arrested for DUI drugs, possession for sales, and transportation.

April 2, 2020

Human Trafficking – 3:43 pm. – Katella/Holder – From a call for service, officers and detectives investigated a case of human trafficking. The Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force responded to provide guidance during the investigation. A male subject was arrested and absentee booked at Orange County Jail.

April 3, 2020

Assault – 7:07 p.m. – 5300 block of Marion Ave. – A female victim responded to the Police Department and reported that her boyfriend assaulted her the day prior. As the victim was reporting the assault, the male subject showed up to the PD. The victim had an injury to her leg and the male subject was arrested for felony domestic violence.
Vehicle Burglary – 10:57 p.m. – 9700 block of Graham St. – Between 9 p.m. and time of call, unknown suspect(s) shattered the victim’s front passenger window and stole a purse, jewelry and miscellaneous clothing.

April 4, 2020

Vehicle Burglary – 11:28 a.m. – 9700 block of Graham – Sometime between 6:20 p.m. Friday and 11:00 a.m. today, unknown suspect(s) smashed the driver’s side window of the victim’s vehicle and stole gloves, masks, sun glasses and Clorox wipes.

April 5, 2020

Vandalism – 7:30 a.m. – 5700 block of Vonnie Lane – Occurred overnight, an unknown suspect slashed six tires on the victim’s vehicles that were parked in the driveway. Damage valued at $2000.
Grand Theft – 10:52 a.m. – 5700 block of Roxbury Court – Sometime between 9 a.m. and the time of call, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole two radios valued at $36,000.
Vandalism – 4:11 p.m. – 5700 block of Saint Ann Avenue – Occurred overnight, an unknown suspect slashed the tires on the victim’s vehicle. Damage was valued at $300.
