OCFA reports woman found deceased in home after fire

The Orange County Fire Authority responded to reports of a structure fire on the 12500 block of Martha Ann Dr. in Rossmoor at around 6:30 a.m. The fire took about forty minutes to knock down, according to the OCFA Public Information Officer’s Twitter feed.

One man was reportedly transported in stable condition to the hospital for smoke inhalation, and a firefighter was also hospitalized with a leg injury. Unfortunately, a woman was found deceased inside the home. At this time, there is no information on her cause of death.

There is no current information available as to the cause of the fire, and the investigation is ongoing.

OCFA estimates damage to the structure at $500,000 and to its contents at $250,000. Cause has not yet been determined.
