April 7, 2020

Theft by False Pretense – 2:35 p.m. – 5600 block of Conifer Dr. – The reporting party reportedly sent $800 to an unknown subject that the RP met on the internet.
Traffic Stop – 10:30 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Walker – A vehicle was reportedly driving recklessly in the parking lot. Police performed a traffic stop and searched the vehicle. Party advised and will comply.

April 8, 2020

Suspicious Subject – 12:53 a.m. – Santa Margarita/La Luna – Three male subjects unknown to the area were last seen on La Luna possibly headed towards Santa Margarita. The caller stated that the door was open to a neighbor’s vehicle. Police attempted to contact the subjects and one subject fled on foot. Two Cypress Police units were requested to assist. A 20-year-old subject was arrested for petty theft and theft of lost property. A 19-year-old subject was arrested for petty theft, theft of lost property, and receiving/concealing stolen property. A juvenile was arrested for receiving/concealing stolen property, theft of lost property, and resisting/delaying/obstructing an officer.
Municipal Code Violation – 8:47 p.m. – Festival/Walker – A subject was reportedly going through trash cans. Party advised and will comply.

April 9, 2020

Disturbance (Family) – 6:25 p.m. – 7800 block of Jennifer Cir. – The caller wanted their 41-year-old son to leave and advised that he was verbally threatening. The subject was detained in handcuffs and the family was advised on a civil issue.

April 10, 2020

Petty Theft Report – 4:22 p.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – The reporting party received a phone call from the Anaheim Police Department regarding his unreported stolen license plate, which had been located on a vehicle in Los Angeles by the LAPD Central.
Traffic Collision – 5:44 p.m. – 5000 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – Police responded to a traffic collision involving three vehicles. One subject complained of head pain and another of chest pain. Medics were refused. The vehicles were removed from the roadway. Information exchanged.

April 11, 2020

Disturbance (Subject) – 6:29 p.m. – 5500 block of Conifer Dr. – A repo man was reportedly taking a vehicle to the dealership. A subject was heard shouting in the background. Police determined that the issue was a civil matter. The vehicle was repossessed.
Illegally Parked Vehicle – 9:37 a.m. – 5700 block of Parkwest Cir. – A vehicle was cited for blocking a fire hydrant.
Vandalism Report – 10:31 a.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – Vehicle tires were reportedly slashed, possibly by the caller’s daughter’s ex-boyfriend. Report taken.

April 12, 2020

Open Door – 9:29 a.m. – 7800 block of Camden Cir. – The caller noticed the front door to a neighbor’s house wide open. The caller looked inside and it appeared that no one was home. Police made contact and everything checked okay.
Suspicious Subject – 9:53 a.m. – 8600 block of Santa Margarita Ln. – An unknown male subject had reportedly been on the roof. The caller’s mother told him to get off. Police were unable to locate the subject during an area check. No crime at this time.

April 13, 2020

Identity Theft Report – 6:22 p.m. – 5000 block of Decatur Dr. – The caller’s Social Security number was reportedly used to create multiple credit cards.
Petty Theft – 8:28 p.m. – 5500 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller reported a beer run. The loss was an 18-pack of Bud Light and a bag of ice valued at $20. Report taken.

April 14, 2020

Dead Animal – 7:06 a.m. – La Palma/Westra – A dead skunk was reported in the eastbound number one lane of La Palma just east of Westra. SEAACA advised.
Citizen Assist – 8:12 a.m. – 8000 block of Redford Ln. – The caller reportedly locked keys in a vehicle. The caller was advised to contact a tow company or a locksmith. The vehicle was in the driveway of the residence.
Violation of a Court Order – 12:54 p.m. – 8000 block of Louise Ln. – A female subject was reportedly attacking a male subject with her hands. Police arrested a 41-year-old female for for possession of controlled substances and violation of a domestic violence court order. The subject was transported and booked at Orange County Jail.

April 15, 2020

Welfare Check – 9:37 a.m. – 7400 block of Bourbon Ln. – The caller requested a welfare check on her 89-year-old mother, to whom she had not spoken in two days. The subject had internal bleeding for several years and refused to get medical help. Police found mail and packages on the front porch and requested permission to enter the backyard. A neighbor stated that it had been approximately one week since she had seen her and normally sees her every other day. The reporting party provided a key and police made entry. The subject was located, having fallen in the bathroom. OCFA responded to assist and the subject was transported to the hospital.
Counseling – 3:10 p.m. – 8000 block of Woodglen Cir. – The reporting party stated that children in her rear neighbor on Woodglen were throwing water balloons at her home using a slingshot. Police made contact wtih the responsible party who advised that they would stop.
Pedestrian Check – 5:24 p.m. – La Palma/Walker – The caller requested a pedestrian check regarding a subject walking in traffic and trowing a beer bottle. The subject was verbally uncooperative with police and was issued a citation.
