Were you or someone you know unable to pay your secured property taxes by April 10 due to a direct impact from COVID-19?
If so, help is on the way, and these affected taxpayers can have their penalties cancelled if paid by June 30. Complete the penalty cancellation request form and mail in your payment (without penalties and costs) along with all available documentation as soon as you are able to pay.
Also, if you did not receive or have misplaced your property tax bill, the current year and the last nine years of property tax bills and last two years of payments are available online at ocgov.com/octaxbill. Please stay safe during these unprecedented times.
