Pedestrian Check – 9:44 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Centerpointe – A subject was reportedly headed westbound on Orangethorpe with pants around his ankles. Police contacted the subject, who advised that he had a meth pipe and gave police permission to search. Police arrested a 24-year-old subject for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Vandalism – 2:21 a.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – Wood was reportedly thrown in the residence, shattering a window. Report taken.
Pedestrian Check – 3:07 p.m. – La Palma/Inwood – Police contacted a subject who was throwing trash can lids. Police stood by to make sure the subject picked them back up. Party advised and will comply.

Missing Children – 10:59 a.m. – 5200 block of Iberville Cir. – The caller’s three children were last seen riding bicycles around the area and had been missing for the past thirty minutes. The caller’s husband had also been driving around attempting to locate the children. The children were located that their grandparents’ residence in Buena Park.

Suspicious Subject – 7:16 a.m. – 5000 block of Malaga Dr. – An elderly male called 911 to report an unknown female inside his residence. The female was screaming int he background. Police responded and found the subject combative. The subject was detained in handcuffs and refused to identify herself. The subject was identified as a 41-year-old transient and was arrested for robbery and burglary.
Disturbance (Subject) – 10:50 p.m. – Centerpointe – A subject was reportedly yelling at staff through the rear door. The subject was possibly intoxicated or on drugs. The subject left the area and was last seen headed eastbound on Orangethorpe. Buena Park Police contacted the subject.

Disturbance (Neighbor) – 8:42 a.m. – 4400 block of Robin Dr. –Counseling – 11:08 a.m. – 4700 block of Elben Dr. – The reporting party requested counseling regarding a neighbor dispute. A neighbor had reportedly been hitting golf balls into the reporting party’s yard. Counseled.

Petty Theft Report – 8 a.m. – 5300 block of Pembury Dr. – A vehicle was ransacked, with the loss of an automatic car charger. Report taken.
Counseling – 6:12 p.m. – 5200 block of Sorrento Cir. – A neighbor was reportedly spraying water on the caller and the caller’s family in the backyard. Both parties counseled.
