Casa Youth shelter thanks Kenny and Valentino’s Pizza

As we wrap up another successful Kenny’s Pizza Mondays fundraiser, we’d like to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to a couple of special local business owners and one of our dearest Board members who work hard to raise these funds each year to support our mission.

For more than 10 years, Lee Alanouf and Alex Varonos – two brothers-in-law who own Valentino’s Pizza in Los Alamitos – have joined forces with their close friend, longtime supporter, and Casa Youth Shelter Board member Kenny Brandyberry, to raise over $100,000 for our Residential Shelter Care program.

For five consecutive Mondays each year since 2009, Kenny stands front and center at Valentino’s Pizza, on his feet for nearly 15 hours on those days. He even delivers large orders himself, loading up his PT Cruiser with dozens of pizza boxes. We could not be more grateful for Kenny and his dedication to helping our kids, and to Lee and Alex for making literally hundreds of pizzas each year to support our shelter and our youth!

Valentino’s Pizza is located at 10511 Los Alamitos Blvd., at the corner of Los Alamitos Blvd. and Cerritos Ave. in Los Alamitos. (562.795.0400; valentinospizzalosalamitos.com)
