City of Cypress makes CARES Act funds available to small businesses

Small businesses can apply for Cypress’ Small Business Relief Program beginning Thursday, June 4, 2020.

The program, made possible through an allocation of federal CARES Act funds by Orange County Supervisor Michelle Steel, will offer grants up to $10,000 to eligible small businesses in Cypress.

The relief funds are available to assist business owners with payroll, capital or equipment expenses, and operational costs, including utility, loan, lease, and mortgage payments. The program’s goal is to get assistance to small businesses quickly to support their recovery effort.

Applications will be available June 4 and accepted through June 8, 2020.
