We had heard from multiple sources of a protest planned for Friday, June 5 in Cypress.

This is now confirmed by the Cypress Police Department:

Rumors circulating on social media

The Orange County Sheriff put out this threat assessment on Monday, June 1:

Everyone stay safe out there.

      Cypress Police Department Quick Update: We continue to monitor the plans for this protest and will be providing an update on the event later today. As many of you may have guessed there is some misinformation coming out in social media and we will do our best to address all of your concerns in subsequent postings.       The City has not identified a location for the protest.
