City of Long Beach to close beaches over Fourth of July weekend

The City announced that, in alignment with Los Angeles County, Long Beach beaches will be closed to the public this Fourth of July weekend starting Friday, July 3 at 12:01 a.m., through 5 a.m. on Monday, July 6, in a proactive effort to limit the spread of COVID-19. This closure also includes piers, beach parking lots (except for permit holders), beach access ways, bathrooms and beach bike and pedestrian paths.
