Disturbance (Subject) – 7:34 p.m. – 7900 block of Walker St. – A subject was reportedly yelling at Security. Party advised and will comply. The subject was sent on his way.
Counseling – 11:44 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller requested counseling regarding a possible theft of $200 Apple Airpods by a family member. Incident report taken.

July 3, 2020

Loitering – 5:36 p.m. – 4800 block of La Palma Ave. – A family was reportedly loitering in the area asking customers for money. The family was asked to leave by the owner, who advised that the family was at the location the day before as well.
Disturbance (Fireworks) – 8:48 p.m. – 5100 block of Bridgewood Dr. – A neighbor was reportedly setting off fireworks from the backyard. Resident counseled.

July 4, 2020

Disturbance (Music) – 6:34 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller reported loud bagpipe music, which was audible in the background of the phone call, from a different apartment. Police contacted the subject in the other apartment. The subject turned down the music.
Assault/Battery – 8:22 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Walker – A female reportedly grabbed a male by the throat. The male pushed the female away and the female threw items. The male left in a van headed westbound on Orangethorpe. Police checked video surveillance at the business. Report taken.

July 5, 2020

Animal Bite – 6:31 a.m. – 5800 block of Parkwest Cir. – The caller was reportedly bitten by her dog, a small black terrier, at 6 a.m. The caller was counseled and advised that SEAACA would be responding.
Pedestrian Check – 6:58 p.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – Police contacted a male subject. After a negative match on a DMV photo, the officer requested a mobile fingerprint scanner from a neighboring department. After the subject gave his real name, the request was canceled. The subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant and false report of ID to a peace officer.

July 6, 2020

Welfare Check – 11:33 a.m. – Byrne/Bouma – A possible juvenile was reportedly sitting on the floorboard of a vehicle looking disoriented. The subject checked okay and was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Traffic Collision – 12:50 p.m. – Walker/Conifer – Two vehicles, a truck versus an SUV, were reportedly involved in a traffic collision. OCFA responded to the location for injuries. Two tow trucks were requested. Public Works was contacted regarded a damaged retaining wall. Three subjects were transported to the hospital. Report taken.

July 7, 2020

Welfare Check – 11:56 a.m. – 4700 block of Sharon Dr. – The caller advised that each night in a bedroom items were missing and found rearranged. Counseled.
Disturbance (Subject) – 11:26 p.m. – 7900 block of Walker St. – A subject was reportedly refusing to leave the bed. Police made contact and the subject gathered his items and was provided directions to a local shelter.

July 8, 2020

Citizen Assist – 11:45 a.m. -5900 block of La Palma Ave. – A male subject appeared to be disoriented and confused and did not know where he was or his name. The subject was possibly having a medical emergency. The subject was treated by OCFA and transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Counseling – 10:46 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – An unknown subject reportedly threw a box of bricks on the front porch. No property was damaged. No subject was seen or heard in the area. Reporting party counseled.
General Broadcast – 11:21 p.m. – Delong/Walker (Cypress) – Shots were fired, possibly from the rear passenger window of a beige Chevy Suburban on Delong/Walker. The vehicle was last seen on Lincoln heading towards Valley View. There was no victim.
