July 16, 2020

Foot Patrol – 2:40 p.m. – 7000 block of Moody St. – Police contacted three people and arrested a 29-year-old female subject for an outstanding warrant.
Disturbance (Family) – 8:44 p.m. – 5200 block of Pembury Dr. – The caller reported a verbal argument between family, with one subject extremely intoxicated. One subject was detained in cuffs and subsequently arrested for resisting/delaying/obstructing an officer.

July 17, 2020

Stray Animal – 8:50 p.m. – La Palma/Redford – A white Pomeranian dog was reported on La Palma and Denni. The dog’s owner responded to the lobby and the dog was returned. SEAACA advised.
Disturbance (Subject) – 10:00 p.m. – 5300 block of La Palma Ave. – A male subject was creating a verbal disturbance in the parking lot and also possibly urinating in the parking lot. The subject left the area, running at a high rate of speed into Buena Park.

July 18, 2020

Disturbance (Fight) – 5:00 p.m. – 5200 block of Pembury Dr. – The reporting party stated “415 fight” then hung up. Two subjects could be seen outside. One subject was held at Taser point and detained in handcuffs. Police arrested a 42-year-old male subject for damage to a wireless device and elder abuse. The Probation department placed a hold on the subject.
Counseling – 5:57 p.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – The caller requested to speak with an officer regarding the caller’s daughter having friends over while the caller was at work. Counseled.

July 19, 2020

Police Information – 2:23 p.m. – La Palma/Valley View – The traffic light was reportedly stuck on red. Buena Park was aware of the situation and would be handling it.
Counseling – 8:42 p.m. – 77922 Walker St. (La Palma Police Department) – The reporting party believed that an unknown subject was stealing her underwear. The reporting party also believed that someone was following her. The RP declined to provide an address and requested to remain anonymous but wanted to make a report. Counseled by phone.

July 20, 2020

Pedestrian Check – 7:23 a.m. – Walker/La Luna – Police detained a subject in cuffs for possible suspicious activity. The subject was subsequently arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and public nudity where prohibited.
Pedestrian Check – 7:02 p.m. – 4900 block of La Palma Ave. – Police conducted a pedestrian check and detained a 65-year-0ld male subject, who was subsequently arrested for an open container and parole violation. The subject was transported to Orange County Jail.

July 21, 2020

Animal Call – 2:38 p.m. – 5200 block of Bransford Dr. – A family reportedly lost a large tortoise. The reporting party was also advised to contact SEAACA and post on the NextDoor app. The reporting party later called back to report that the tortoise had been located.
Traffic Stop – Traffic Stop – 7:42 p.m. – Walker/Pineridge – Police arrested a 33-year-old female subject for possession of Xanax, theft of lost property, possession of controlled substances, resisting/delaying/obstructing an officer, missing vehicle plates, evading a peace officer, an outstanding warrant, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

July 22, 2020

Disturbance (Music) – 7:57 a.m. – 8200 block of Walker St. – The caller reported a complaint of loud music from the north parking lot, possibly coming from a golf cart. Police determined that the staff had music going. Party advised and will comply.
Vandalism Report – 9:02 a.m. – Houston/Indigo – Black and white illegible graffiti was reported on Indigo just south of Houston. Report taken. Public Works notified.
